All competitors wishing to compete in 7.0 Pro for the remainder of the season need to check the NHRA Heritage Series rules, which were put in place when the class first emerged. It includes:
THROTTLE: Throttle control must be manually operated by driver’s foot: Electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or any other device may in no way affect the throttle operation. A mechanical device for controlling engine rpm during burnouts may be attached to the injector or throttle linkage but may not be driver-controlled.
IGNITION: Single magneto or single coil ignition only. Mag advance or retard must be function of the driver. No digital or programmable ignitions allowed. Single overrev rpm chip box allowed.

Reigning Tim’s Speed and Custom Street Eliminator Champion Dan Caissie recently put out a call to his fellow racers asking to support his plan to provide relief to Louisiana flood victims. The response was overwhelming. During the VP Race Fuels ET Series event on August 27 there was a steady stream of competitors dropping off supplies ranging from personal care products and household supplies to clothing and toys. In fact, the number of contributions filled Caissie’s trailer leaving no room for his race car. Following the race Caissie and fellow Street Eliminator competitor Don Palm began their trek to Louisiana.

2015 NHRA Division 1
Stock Eliminator Championship
Justin Picillo, 32, of Warwick, Rhode Island has become the 2015 NHRA Division 1 Stock Eliminator Champion driving a 1972 Chevelle 350 small block.
Justin and his team worked very hard throughout the 2015 season traveling from New Hampshire to Reynolds, Georgia and a few tracks in-between.
The race season started with the intention of running only a few races. The team had taken 2013 and 2014 off, Justin and his wife Liz had gotten married and purchased a home. Those plans quickly changed when Justin won the first 2 races of the 2015 season.
